Lunch pal October 3, 2005   08:32 AM PDT   One last story on the Royals. KC Star reports KC's first baseman Mike Sweeney was in Children's Mercy Hosptial visiting some children last week. In an effort to cheer them up he promised to hit a grounder into a double play to help make the last game of the season go by quickly.
